I am so proud of myself, I've posted three times this month!

We are trying to do as much as we can in the time we have left here in Jersey. Here are a few of the things we've done this month.

We went to Sesame Place.

We went to the Ocean City beach or, as a true northeasterner would say, the shore. Levi loved it there, NOT!

After a couple days of rest, Katey and Alyssa treated our family to a day at the Six Flags theme park (they earned tickets through a reading program). The kids loved the park, but I think Derren was the one who was most excited. He rode the Kubla Kan roller coaster which goes up 485ft. and speeds from 0-128 mph in a matter of seconds. Alyssa said, "Boy, I'm sure lucky I'm too small to ride on that one." I feel the same way.

I turned 31.

After twenty-some years, Derren finally finished school!!!!

As you can see, he's feeling pretty proud of himself.

Levi tried his first sloppy joe, and loved it.

I finally got to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty!

Perhaps no one else will think this picture is great, but Derren and I thought it was fun to see an Indian family with baseball caps on in front of Lady Liberty.

We'll be in Colorado soon, and can't wait!!!!!!

As you can tell, Katey has become quite creative with her photos. She will use costumes and sets to create the right mood. Luckily for Mom and Dad, Katey has two very willing models and one slightly willing model to work with.

Alyssa and Katey both got cameras for their birthdays this year, they are turning into our little paparazzis. Here are a few samples of Alyssa's masterpieces (can you tell what her favorite subject is?). Katey's will be added soon.

I know, I know, it's been a while. A LONG while!!!

Ugh! I set this blog up hoping it would help me stay faithfully connected to all of our loved ones. Well, I dropped the ball. Sorry!!

We have been busy since I last blogged. We've had two birthday parties (one girl pirate party, one french poodle party), a visit from Mom, Molly, and Reuben, a trip to the Atlantic City Jelly Stone Camp Site, a day trip in Lancaster, PA, putting our house on the market, trying to keep the house spotless so it will actually sell, having a BBQ with some friends from Temple, watching a play about the three little pigs, going to Girls Scouts, finishing gymnastics, continuing homeschool, loosing teeth, and more.

Poor Levi!

Our poor little guy had his first trip to the emergency room last Saturday. As I was getting him dressed, I pulled his pajamas off of his right arm and heard a small popping noise. He cried a little, but didn't make a huge deal out of it, so I didn't think too much had happened. After taking the kids to a birthday party for a few hours and noticing that Levi was still grumpy (that's not normal for him), I decided I should probably have him checked out. After dropping the girls off with Derren, I packed Levi back into the car, and took a trip to the ER. I'm glad I listened to my heart, Levi had Nursemaid's Elbow. Translation: Levi had dislocated his elbow! Poor Levi! The good news... after the Dr. manipulated it back into place, Levi was back to normal again.
